Much of Central Virginia is waking up to snowfall totals trending toward the lower end of many forecast projections, as a sleet and freezing rain mix continues to compact existing snow and create hazardous conditions. As of 9 a.m., approximately four inches of snow has been reported near the Mountain Road district in Louisa County.
